The driving anxiety assessment is usually conducted to evaluate a clients ability to drive after the motor vehicle accident.  The assessment consists of two parts.  First a mental health therapist interviews the client, and then a licensed driving instructor assesses the client’s ability to operate a vehicle and determine if the client has the potential to improve from the instructor’s training.  Our driving desensitization program is multidisciplinary and involves both counseling from the clinician as well as on-the-road training from the instructor.
